A quiet night, a sleepless night
Sitting alone in the moonlight
Think of you, picture your face
I feel your gentle touch
The moon and stars, Venus and Mars
The pages of my memoirs
Then I hear a crying train
Echoes far away
This frozen up silence is the only thing consciously I can hear
The ghosts and ghouls have disappeared into the atmosphere
Then I feel your touch and affection
Is it an imagination? Am I in my dream?
Sitting along in the moonlight
A quaint sleepless night
Et puis je m’assoie, sur une chaise froide
Ne savant exactement pas quoi faire
Au milieu de ma nuit blanche
Pensant à notre passé
Y a-t-il un moyen de remonter ces fous moments qu’on a vécus?
Est-il possible d’effacer ces erreurs qu’on a pu éviter?
Pour qu’on puisse revivre ces instants
Pour leur faire croire que vraiment nous nous aimons
Ca me fait penser à ces moments
De notre jeunesse.
